What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out this replacement two-inch ball for work. You're a trailer valet. Trailer dolly. So this is the RV R 12 we're working with today and this is just gonna replace the two inch ball that maybe broke, you damaged it, maybe you lost it. You don't have to buy a whole new assembly.
You can just replace the ball. Let's check it out. With this kit, you're gonna get the plate and the two inch ball to replace on your trailer vale. It does not include the lock washer so you need to have your old one or get a new one for this to work. Cause you definitely need to still put that on the base when you go to tighten it down in the tower it installs the exact same way as your old one.
Just thread it in. By hand at first then you use a tool to tighten it down all the way. The replacement ball and plate are gonna be the same material as the one you're replacing, so sturdy steel construction with that zinc nickel plating so you don't have to worry about rust corrosion when it's out in the elements. Overall, I like that you can replace the two-inch ball if you need to. This is nice to be able to buy this and the plate.
You don't have to buy the whole other assembly or get anything else involved. You can just get this get this installed and get back to using it. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out. I hope this helps.

Too many delays on shipping.
Bought to park 22 ft. trailer nosed into lot while spending winter in Arizona. Works great, works even better if you have one person push and one steering(no crank installed). Have loaned to Arizona neighbours, excellent for accurate positioning of trailers. Allowed us the option of using trailer as our garage and storage unit during the winter stay. It is a tough little unit, seems very well built.

The product is extremely good quality and I absolutely love the trailer XL trailer dolly. Worth every penny!!! Only regret is when you order a replacement ball you would expect to get a nut and washer assembly if it is labeled as a "replacement" ball.
It took some looking on the web to find the right part number for just the 2" hitch ball for the Valet XL dolly. I didn't need the entire 2 replacement ball for any Trailer Valet XL with an easy swap base. Which came with: Trailer Valet Ball Base, 2? Ball, Spanner Wrench, and Coupling Plate. The correct Item# Number is TVHB2. Once this Item was determined to be what I needed e.trailer had this item. That is all that is needed to ensure you can handle both ball-size used in the common tow hitch setup.

Have used the trailer valet several times on my 21 foot boat and on my 26 foot camper. Works perfect in my driveway for parking and maneuvering around my tight gates to get into and out of my backyard.
My Trailer Valet XL came with a 2 5/16" ball but I wanted to have a 2" ball as well. I bought this ball but I didn't realize that it didn't come with the coupling plate. Had I known, I would have ordered both together.
I ordered the 2” ball hitch for my Trailer Valet XL. The order was complete, delivered on time and was not damaged upon arrival. Having the smaller ball to change out makes the trailer valet even better. I switch the balls when I need to move my jetskis which has a smaller ball and then to the larger one to move my trailer. So easy to change out.
etrailer.com is the best. We purchased a travel valet XL but it came with the wrong size ball. The company was out of stock but my son recommended etrailer.com. The item was in stock and was shipped the same day. Very please and now we have use of Travel Valet XL.
